Introduction



Faculty of Dairy Technology has its foundation laid in August 2022. With currently five operating divisions namely Dairy Technology, Dairy Engineering, Dairy Microbiology, Dairy Chemistry, and Dairy Business Management, this faculty is offering UG degree in Dairy Technology with its courses and trainings as per Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), distributed among 8 semesters. Dairy technology is an important field that deals with the processing, production, and distribution of milk and milk-based products and our degree program focus on developing skills in various aspects of the dairy industry.
Graduates of this programme shall be well equipped to work in various roles in the dairy industry, including production, quality control, marketing, and distribution. The vision of the Faculty is to expedite socioeconomic changes in dairy sector through technological adaptation by creation of highly competent human resource in dairy technology with sound technical knowledge, innovation and entrepreneurial mindset. In addition to prescribed courses, students in the Under Graduate programme will also be well equipped with the following skills:
